CUNNINGHAM FARM
Approach (Session 5)
in the car on the way to CUNNINGHAM FARM
- SEAMUS speculates that THOMAS PEREZ CUNNINGHAM might be dead; maybe corresponds with the black-hole-faced mom doodle (DOODLES)
- SHELF notes that if ELLE GABLE took a car to the vet's home, it's in the parking lot and the police will find it
- we pull up on a very quaint farmhouse
- LOTTIE gets to door first, rings doorbell a lot of times, no answer
- SEAMUS does a lap around the house
- MO checks mailbox; full of mail; bills etc, going back two weeks
- LOTTIE opens door, being careful to wipe handle
Farmhouse Sweep (Session 5)
- rotty smell (not the ROTTING FLESH smell that LOTTIE and SEAMUS find delicious, just gross rot); smell coming from upstairs; rotten fruit on the counter
- we clear the house police-style, starting with this ground floor; we see no basement stairs
- we move up the stairs
- parents bedroom (SUSAN CUNNINGHAM, EMIL CUNNINGHAM): two viscerally mutilated bodies, knife-style; that's the source of the smell
- SHELF: "LOTTIE you might not want to look in here"
- nothing in the kids rooms
- MO checks bodies medically
- two people in their 60s, on top of the blankets, brutally stabbed to death and then flayed, cutting their skin up with knives (not in a "to collect a particular piece" way -- all the skin appears to be accounted for here)
- they're wearing sleeping clothes
- Tommy's room (THOMAS PEREZ CUNNINGHAM): weirdly not decorated; spartan; notebook full of DOODLES -- the same drawings, not just similar content
- no evidence of pets, husbandry
- no weird dead tree
- SHELF: texts PIZZA with updates; pizza confirms that ELLE GABLE's corpse is secure, it is.
- in pictures where everyone else is smiling, Tommy (THOMAS PEREZ CUNNINGHAM) is not smiling
- in drawer: extensive paperwork from various psychologists all about Tommy (THOMAS PEREZ CUNNINGHAM); he's seen many therapists because he is still nonverbal (QUIET CHILDREN?)
- we take that file
- big retcon: the siblings are dead also in the same way actually
